RUBI AI — AI Desktop Assistant
RUBI Desktop connects the assistant to the computer where work happens. RUBI 24 adds an always-on edition for a dedicated Windows device, while retaining the same account boundaries and authorized local tools.
Beyond a conversation
Some work cannot be completed by a cloud response alone. It needs an installed application, a local file or a browser session on a computer. A dedicated device can keep those resources available without occupying your daily workstation, but it still needs stable power, internet and the right account permissions.

Available controls and recorded evidence
RUBI Desktop includes the local assistant, application controls, consented screen capture and a computer view. RUBI 24 is packaged with startup and recovery behavior and a sleep-prevention mode. These operating features support a dedicated computer; they do not guarantee availability during outages.
Connections and operating conditions
A computer must remain powered, connected and usable by its applications. Windows updates, login screens and provider policies can interrupt work. Meeting attendance needs the Desktop guest browser and host admission; invite parsing and summary email tests do not establish live participation in every meeting provider.
Security and permissions
A separate device key keeps the second computer identifiable without creating a shared personal password. System monitoring requires explicit activation. Screen capture and local changes remain subject to the owner’s permissions, even on an always-on device.

Is RUBI 24 a hosted virtual desktop?
No. It is an edition for a Windows computer you provide, including a dedicated notebook. A hosted Windows environment would need separate provisioning and operation.
Does always-on mean guaranteed uptime?
No. Startup and recovery reduce interruption, but electricity, internet, operating-system updates and external providers still affect availability.
